As parents of two young children we know that playing is an important part of a child’s physical, intellectual and emotional development. Our aim is to offer you a careful selection of beautiful, well-made, durable products that your children –and you- will play with and cherish for a long time. We are not a large toy store. Our products are created by workshops and smaller cottage industries rather than massively produced at the assembly line. Original or nostalgic, simple or sophisticated, you will find our toys truly distinctive for their quality craftsmanship, their tasteful design and their personal character. |

When selecting our toys we pay attention to the factor of creativity in play. We believe that it is beneficial to offer to our children toys with a non-limiting quality that leave open room at a child ’s imagination and his capacity to create and transform. Such play objects require more of a child’s imagination, therefore encouraging meaningful play. This means more play value and more education. Some of our toys have earned the German “Spiel Gut” award, a distinction for quality, safety, as well as developmental & educational criteria.

Natural
Materials
All of our toys are made of totally natural, environmentally sound materials. We believe in the enriching qualities of natural materials, particularly the warmth and beauty of wood. Wood is regenerative, it is hygienic, it has it’s own temperature, it is durable and it can be repaired and recycled. Wooden toys offer children a rich sensorial experience with their texture, color, and even smell that cannot be compared to plastic.
The types of wood used by our manufacturers are particularly suitable for toy making, and come from controlled European forests. The colors are safe, non-toxic dyes and water based paints and the finishes are natural oils or non-toxic safe varnishes. All of our products conform to European safety norms. |
Fair Work
With the exception of a small line of toys that are made in the Republic of Georgia, the products we sell are made in Europe. Our toy manufacturers are reputable and well-known companies with high work ethics. Some of the companies operate as protected workshops offering employment and a supportive work environment to people that face a challenge in life, such as a disability or transitional stage before entering an unprotected working place.
